MemoHoney Official Website › Privacy Policy
Privacy PolicyMemoHoney Privacy Policy: the short list of what reaches this desk
This website does not take payments, does not hold card details and does not run an account system. What it collects is limited to what you send to the website inbox through the contact form or by email, plus ordinary server and analytics records. Orders are placed on the seller's own checkout, which has its own privacy terms.
What is collected here, what is collected there, how long it is kept and how to have it deleted.
What this MemoHoney website collects
Five rows, and the fifth is the important one.
| What | When | Why | How long |
|---|---|---|---|
| Your name and email | When you use the contact form or write in | To reply to you | Until the matter is closed, then 12 months |
| The message you send | Same | To answer the question you asked | Same |
| IP address and user agent | On every page request | Server logs, security and abuse prevention | Typically 30 days |
| Pages visited and referrer | On every page request | To see which pages are read and which are not | Aggregated |
| Nothing else | — | There is no account, no cart and no payment on this website | — |
This website's own collection. The seller's checkout is a separate system with a separate policy.
What the MemoHoney checkout collects, which is not this website
Where this policy stops and another one starts.
Every order button here hands you to the seller's own checkout. From that point the transaction, the payment and the personal data belong to the seller and its payment processor, under their terms rather than these.
That checkout will collect what any checkout collects: name, delivery address, email, telephone number and payment details. This website never sees the card details and does not receive a copy of the order.
It is worth reading their policy before you pay, in the same way it is worth reading this one. Questions about data held by the seller go to the order desk listed in the footer, because that is the desk that holds it.
Cookies and analytics on the MemoHoney website
What is set, what is not, and the one third-party request that is.
This website sets no advertising cookies and runs no advertising pixel. It does not build a profile of you, does not sell data to anybody and does not share what you send to the contact inbox with the seller unless the message is about an order and you have asked for it to be forwarded.
Ordinary server logs exist, as they do on every website, and they record the request: an IP address, a timestamp, the page and the user agent. They are kept for a short period for security and abuse prevention and are not used to identify individuals.
Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which means your browser makes a request to a Google server when a page loads. That is a third-party request and it is named here rather than left for you to discover in a network tab.
- No advertising cookies and no retargeting pixel.
- No sale or sharing of personal data with third parties for marketing.
- No account, no password and no stored cart on this website.
- Card numbers never touch this domain. They are typed on the seller's checkout, under the seller's certificate.
- One third-party request, for web fonts, named above.
Your rights over data held by this MemoHoney website
Three rights, two routes, and what to put in the message.
Three requests are open to you: tell me what you hold, put right what is to be deleted. Write to the website inbox in the footer from the address you used, and say which of those three you want. Mon–Fri 9:00am–5:00pm ET.
Because this website holds so little, most such requests resolve to deleting an email thread. If your request concerns an order, the data is held by the seller rather than here and the order desk listed in the footer is the right route.
Requests are answered within a reasonable period and without charge. If a request cannot be met, you will be told why rather than ignored.
| Request | Where to send it | What to include |
|---|---|---|
| What do you hold about me? | The website inbox, listed in the footer | The email address you used |
| Correct something | The website inbox, listed in the footer | What is wrong and what it should say |
| Delete my emails | The website inbox, listed in the footer | The address, and the thread if you have it |
| Data about my order | The order desk, listed in the footer | Order ID |
| Stop contacting me | The website inbox, listed in the footer | The address to suppress |
This website sends no marketing email, so the last row usually concerns a reply thread rather than a mailing list.
Why a MemoHoney website holds so little data
Why the shortest privacy policy is usually the safest one.
It is a design decision rather than an accident. This website has no account system, no shopping cart, no saved addresses and no payment page, which means there is no database of customers on it to lose.
Everything commercial happens on the seller's checkout, which is a system built to hold payment data and audited for it. A retail desk holding a second copy of the same personal information would double the risk without improving anything for a buyer.
What is left is an email inbox and a server log. The inbox holds what people chose to send; the log holds what every web server records. Neither is used to build a profile, neither is sold, and neither is shared with the seller unless a message is about an order and you have asked for it to be passed on.
- It does not run an advertising pixel or a retargeting tag.
- It does not set a cookie that identifies you between visits.
- It does not operate a mailing list, so it cannot send you marketing.
- It does not receive a copy of your order from the seller.
- It does not ask for a password, a card number or a government identifier anywhere, and a page that appears to is not this website.
Third parties involved in a MemoHoney purchase
Six parties named, rather than one sentence about trusted partners.
| Who | What they see | Whose policy applies |
|---|---|---|
| This website | Contact form messages, server logs | This page |
| Google Fonts | A font request from your browser, including an IP address | Google's |
| The seller's checkout | Name, address, email, telephone, payment | The seller's |
| The payment processor | Card details and the transaction | The processor's |
| The carrier | Name and delivery address | The carrier's |
| The order desk | Your order and your contact details | The seller's |
Six parties across one purchase. This website is the first row and nothing below it.
Naming them all is more useful than a paragraph saying "we may share data with trusted partners", which is the standard formulation and which tells a reader nothing at all. Questions about any row below the first go to the order desk listed in the footer, because that is where the data is.
Children, security and changes to this MemoHoney policy
Three short statements, and a note about what this website will never ask you for.
This website is not intended for anyone under 18 and the product it describes is labelled for adults. No data is knowingly collected from a child, and anything received from one will be deleted on request or on discovery.
The site is served over HTTPS. The contact form is not a secure channel for anything sensitive, and nothing on this website ever asks for a card number, a password or a government identifier. If a page appears to, it is not this website and it should be reported.
This policy was revised on September 30, 2026. Material changes are made on this page with the review date moved, rather than announced by email, because this website holds no mailing list to announce them to.
